Not All Fit Studios Are Created Equal
In the Spring of 2010 Bicycles Plus decided to take our fitting to the next level. In September of the previous year we had invested in a new motion analysis system that enabled us to do some pretty cool stuff, and we rolled it to the public during a packed house demo session. The word was out, great things are happening at Bicycles Plus, and happening fast.
Not to be satisfied with having many capabilities that most shops don't, we wanted to showcase our abilities in a state of the art, professional fit studio. If you want to be Pro, you have to look Pro as well. And it was with that belief, we made the decision to dedicate ten percent of our second floor space, and build a fit studio from the ground up, designed to make our bike fitting process unique from beginning to end. Privacy, professionalism, and a personal touch, nothing less would do.
So after being the first SlowTwitch Certified Tri Specific Fitter east of Montreal three years ago, after investing in over forty five hundred dollars worth of fit specific tools, measuring devices, lights, video equipment and motion analysis software and rolling it into one of the best looking fit studios in Canada, were ready to tell the world.
Have a look, let us know what you think, or better still, get in touch with us and make an appointment for your personal bike road or Tri bike fit.

So why is motion analysis so important? Because it is the only method of analysing frame by frame, second by second, critical body angles under load. Without it, you're guessing what your knee, shoulder, and ankle flexion measurements are at various points in the pedal stroke. Motion analysis captures all this and more. No guesswork here, just the facts. The static fits the other guys offer are at one level, with motion analysis, we're leading edge.

With our professional fit studio, you'll have our undivided attention throughout your fit. No phone calls, no interruptions, no customers floating around while we dial you and your bike in. We've got the fit bike, laser alignment, X/Y tools for duplicating position from one bike to the next, motion analysis capabilities, an assortment of saddles and contact point solutions for you to try, and our Slowtwitch certification.
