Great turnout at our most recent Bicycles Plus Cycling Club AGM. Solid representation from both sides, road and mountain.
A recap of last year, new initiatives put forward and discussed, and one key item, in my eyes at least that past President Gerard Walsh immediately picked up on, the idea of a Coaching ride the MTB ride initiated last year possibly being offered for the black top side of things. Would it/could it be good for road riding as well? Definitely! Lets make it happen in 2010!  The end of the month is just around the corner and we're busy preparing for our biggest and best Customer Appreciation Night ever.
What's in store? Live music, great locally produced refreshments, snacks, special guests, draw prizes, as well as a surprise or two. Mark the date on your calendar now, Saturday, February 27, from 6 to 9 pm at the Ten Mile House, better known as Bicycles Plus. The staff looks forward to seeing you there.  Where is Kadiri Richard, my good friend and favourite basketball player for the 2007/08 Halifax Rainmen these days? Kadiri is playing in the United Kingdom, just outside London. Check out his latest YouTube presentation where he placed second in the British Basketball League slam dunk competition. Awesome!
